On Saturday 17 February 2018, Chinese Nurse Association Australia took part in the Box Hill Lunar New Year Festival Celebration. The host provided us with free booths to give us the opportunity to provide free health screening and counseling to the Local Community.
The day was met with bright skies which brought warmth to the heart of our volunteers. Our booth was met with a queue from morning to night.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, we introduced Chinese Nurse Association Australia to the Community. We found that not many people were familiar
with the health care options that are open for them to receive. Even though our association have hosted many talks in collaboration with many Senior Social Groups, it is through events like these that we realise there are still many that have not received this information at all.
We hope that many Community organisations can connect with us in order for us to bring health awareness information to all in order for us to add value and improve the quality of life of the senior community around us.

我們有機會再次為社區民眾提供免費的健康檢查及諮詢。
當天熱情的太陽配上熱情的民眾，把我們的義工們的心都點燃了，我們帳篷前的排隊人潮從早到晚都保持著絡繹不絕的狀態。
趁這個可以跟社區民眾交流的機會，澳大利亞華人護士協會也將綜合家庭護理服務的訊息告訴給民眾知道，我們發現還是有許多人不熟悉綜合家庭護理服務的這項政策，即使我們已經跟許多社區中心合作，將相關知識及情報帶進各個社區當中，但是還是有許多民眾完全不知道相關訊息。
