On Friday 16 February 2018, Chinese Nurse Association Australia hosted our annual Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration in collaboration with LaoLaiLe Chinese Senior Social Group. A total of 150 attendants came to share the joy of this Festive Season. On the first day of the New Year, many culturally rich performances and food (buns, sunflower seeds, dumplings, bread and fruit) were organised in order to bring a sense of 'home' to all the attendants.
Many dressed up in Traditional costumes which led to many beautiful and touching photos. The cultural performances were well planned and included the playing of Traditional Chinese instruments, cultural dances and singing performances. These performances brought a smile to those that were watching.
Taking this opportunity, we would like to extend our thanks to our many volunteers who patiently assisted behind the scenes. It is with their humble hearts and dedication that we were able to host such a touching and intimate celebration.
在2月16日老來樂成功將近150位的來自各社區的叔叔阿姨們聚集在一起，共同慶祝2018的農曆過年，在這充滿意義的農曆初一，現場安排了許多精彩、美麗、而且富有趣味性的表演，也準備了豐盛的午餐，除了過年必啃瓜子之外，還準備了滿桌滿山的餃子、包子、麵包跟水果，也感謝叔叔阿姨、大哥大姐們都很認真看待這次的活動，每個人都打扮得又美又帥的來參加，澳大利亞華人護士協會才能拍下許多精彩的照片，將每位來賓最動人的一刻給捕捉下來。
精彩的表演節目
在現場我們也發現原來我們老來樂的會員中藏了許多有才能的叔叔阿姨、大哥大姐們，當天他們受到現場火熱氣氛的影響，一一跑上前台來露一手。
其中包含了能唱又會打腰鼓的張阿姨、有附好歌喉的王大哥，能唱又能跳的張叔叔阿姨夫妻倆，跟美麗又有才藝的鄭大姐等等，他們的表演數度將我們的活動推到最高潮。
趁此機會，我們也要感謝那些默默協助我們的義工們，是他們的奉獻，才確保每一位在場的叔叔阿姨們能享受貼心的服務，能夠吃得飽，並且拍下漂亮的照片，記錄下活動的毎一刻。是他們的付出才能讓澳大利亞華人護士協會舉辦的老來樂春節茶話會的活動圓滿舉辦。
我們需要更多的義工們一起加入我們澳大利亞華人護理協會的團隊，與我們一起為老人們服務，提升他們的生活品質，如果有興趣的話，請隨時跟我們表達您的意願！

在會後，我們也收到了許多來自叔叔阿姨們的認可及感謝，看到這些充滿真情的字句，讓我們這些工作人員看在眼裡，暖在心底，那一句句的肯定都是我們每次辦活動最大的收穫。
