On Friday 15 July 2016, Chinese Nurse Association once again connected with ADEC in Werribee for the Home and Community Care Talk.
The Aged Care System session last month was so well received that they welcomed our nurse consultant back to delve into the options available within Home and Community Care.
The session was attended by 13 Elderly individuals who appreciated the information that they were able to receive in their mother language of Mandarin, Chinese.
As many of the Elderly individuals that we connect with are not confident with their English, these talks in Chinese have proved to be a pleasant informative change from the English information that is vastly available. Various Chinese social organisations have welcomed these sessions with open arms and the session have imparted important health care information that they can clearly understand.
